Robin - I just finished watching "The Keeper of the Keys" and was blown away by how smart and interesting it was. I got so much out of it, and loved seeing you - you were great! The whole thing was just so polished and professional. I want to congratulate you on finding your niche - your passion. It's obvious that "the Eagle has landed!" I feel fortunate to be able to say the same of myself. Though it's been a hell of a year (my husband and soul mate, James Klever, died in a mountain climbing accident in March, 2012) I have managed to blossom artistically/creatively myself. I just finished a book about my year of grieving and am about to launch several novels I've written through the years. (I am going the traditional route, "paper." However, of course I will, in the final analysis, also go for digital). Check out my art website and new greeting card company: http://www.CutZycards.com. It's thirty years of several styles of my art, some of it hand made (collage), some digital and some watercolors. I have a feeling you'll like it - it's "cutting edge" - for adults. I'm about to go full boogie-tilt with online marketing. Right now the site is what I would call a "soft opening." In any case, write and let me know if you would like to be on my CutZycards mailing list as I create new images. The site is a way to have an online gallery; to "park" my art as I look for galleries, etc. Many women from HENS were/are very talented, and I keep seeing the miracles that have come from the group I started several years ago. Best of luck to you, Robin. I am so happy for you. Love and hugs, Martha Woodworth (aka CutZy McCall).

Hi, Coralleslie (or Leslie Coral!) The Blog Like a Pro! boot camp was a huge success. I had guest speaker Phil Robertson (www.PhilonBusiness.com) and he contributed a great deal of technical answers and support for those questions. I mostly addressed what can be accomplished and how to use blogs to promote yourself and build community with your followers.
It really IS easy - just think of writing a note to your friends. What would you say? What information do you have that might help them with THEIR business? That's all a blog is - a WEB-LOG - or diary of sorts. THEN, once you have a message you want to share, you just type! You can get fancy and insert links - which will make it easy for readers to link over to a referenced site or find something you're discussing - more easily than for them to have to look it up. And drop in a picture or two - and while it takes a bit of time to write a GREAT blog, it's really not complex.
The advantage of having the Internet, too, is it's like having a University at your desk. You can find tutorials. IN fact, why not go to www.YouTube.com and search "How to Blog"? I'm sure you will find countless videos that will walk you through it all, step-by-step, and before you know it, you will have a firm grasp on why you need to blog, what it can mean for you, and how to do it. Good luck! Robin

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really
something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!

Thank you a lot for giving everyone remarkably wonderful chance to read articles and blog posts from this web site. It is usually so ideal and also full of a great time for me and my office peers to search your site not less than thrice every week to see the latest guidance you will have. Not to mention, I'm also usually contented with all the terrific ideas you serve. Some 4 facts on this page are in truth the most efficient we have all ever had.

Good post, Robin! I recommend the recent book Methland as a look at how US pharmaceutical and drugstore companies are complicit in the spread and sale of methamphetamines in the US, a drug dangerous yet legal until the early 1980s. Meth use in the heartland, in turn, is a direct consequence of wages being slashed over the last few decades, or of locals being fired in favor of illegal migrants from Latin America. Corporations and banks are culpable for many if not most of America's worst health and social crises.

[...] Jay adds, “Most motivational speakers believe that the key to earning more as a speaker lies in getting listed with as many speakers bureaus as possible. I know this because I hear from speakers every week. They want to get listed with the bureau, hoping the exposure will help them to get booked for more speaking engagements. While this can be a small part of a marketing strategy, the real money for speakers comes from a genuine understanding of the industry and what it takes to monetize a speaking career. If you are a speaker, the answer to earning thousands every time you speak lies in a formula of science and psychology. I will show a select number of speakers how to do this at my Millionaire Speakers Boot Camp.” [...]
